Foundation Triple-S connects hospitalized patients with their family through Robbie

Thanks to technology, Robbie, a robot on wheels that conducts video conferencing, safely connected patients with their loved ones during the Christmas Holidays. Foundation Triple-S launched this initiative to help alleviate the isolation and loneliness of patients in various hospitals and non-profit organizations by connecting them with their families in love-filled calls.

P.E.C.E.S., a Strong Force in the Eastern Region

PECES played a prominent role in Humacao and much of the eastern region of the island in developing reconstruction initiatives and channeling funds after Hurricane María. But that leading role is the result of three decades of developing community leaders, especially among the younger population. At Triple-S Foundation, we want to support them as they continue expanding and building a more resilient Community Sustainability Center, as well as contribute to their efforts towards promoting food security among the older population.

A Helping Hand in Times of Crisis

Due to the food security emergency caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, Banco de Alimentos has done a titanic job to feed hundreds of thousands of families around Puerto Rico, including Vieques and Culebra. For Triple-S Foundation it is an honor to support them and the more than 150 organizations they represents in their efforts to alliviate hunger.

Triple-S Foundation donates $250,000 to support food security

Due to the crisis effect of COVID-19, Triple-s Foundation has allocated $250,000 to support Non-Profit Organizations who are working to handle the food security and other urgent needs in the communities around Puerto Rico. To this end, the first four selected entities are World Central Kitchen Puerto Rico, Banco de Alimentos, Iniciativa Comunitaria and Albergue El Paraíso.
