Determination Tour 2019

For the second year in a row, Triple-S participated in the Determination Tour 2019. This year, 11 of our brave employees pedaled for three days on a 300-mile tour that circled the island. The tour was in support to the American Cancer Society, Warrios for Life, Parkinson’s Puerto Rican Foundation and the Alfredo Ruiz Foundation.

Volunteers help mitigate food insecurity

Triple-S volunteers joined the Food Bank of Puerto Rico in its mission to mitigate the food insecurity of children, the elderly, women victims of abuse, the sick, wandering and low-income families. Our volunteers donated their work and support through the 4 valuable hours program that the company offers to its employees.

Rebuilding a New Puerto Rico

Triple-S Vida employees collaborated with United Funds of Puerto Rico through the Rebuilding a New Puerto Rico program. This initiative consisted of changing LED incandescent bulbs as part of the pillars of organizations to create financial stability and, in turn, more resilient communities in Puerto Rico.

The Project

The education about the importance of local agriculture and collaborative work is essential for the future of our island. During the month of June, more than 900 children enjoyed the play El Proyecto, with Boricua talent. The work was commissioned by Fundación Triple-S. This event was presented in collaboration with Departmento de Recreación y Deportes, YMCA Ponce, Wesleyan Academy and American Academy summer camps to support the initiative Alimenta tu cuerpo, alimenta tu alma.

Give a Day

A group of employees from the southern and western units of Triple-S helped painting the facilities of two nonprofit organizations in those regions. The work was carried out to commemorate the Give a Day activity, an initiative of the United Ways of Puerto Rico. We feel very proud to have people who give their best in all aspects of their lives.

Alimenta tu cuerpo, alimenta tu alma: AMPI

We went to the West to share the table with the good people of Asociación Mayagüezana de Personas con Impendimentos! AMPI has been working for 35 years with adults suffering intellectual disabilities and functional diversity to give them the chance to live a decent life. After Hurricane María they expanded their mission to repair homes and nearby communities. At Triple-S we recognize organizations that promotes social connections and work for others to have a better life quality and emotional well-being. Play and listen to what they told us.

MDA Jala-Jala 2019

Triple-S pulled and pulled to help families suffering form neuromuscular diseases in Puerto Rico! This year we formed two teams and participated in the competition with great satisfaction. Next year we will become stronger at the MDA Jala-Jala.
