Coamo’s Certification as Dementia Friends

The Triple-S Foundation certified the Autonomous Municipality of Coamo as the fifth to receive the Dementia Friends distinction in Puerto Rico. The mayor of the municipality, Hon. Juan Carlos García Padilla, expressed feeling pleased and grateful for this achievement, as it reinforces the commitment to support people living with dementia and the ability to meet the needs of this population.

Comedor de la Kennedy

We joined the Kennedy Cafeteria to ensure that children, seniors, and university students have a plate of food on their table. We thank our employees who collaborate throughout the year in different volunteer initiatives.

Sponsorship of the Lions Club Health Fair

Triple-S sponsored the Lions Club Health Fair, which celebrates 48 years of providing free services to the community. In this context, the work of the Triple-S Foundation with seniors was recognized, presenting a plaque to Thurman Justice and Lydia Figueroa. We remain committed to this great cause!

The Voices of Rhaiza 2025

We joined The Voices of Rhaiza on the official day of wearing teal to raise awareness about cervical cancer. Getting vaccinated and having screening tests are key as part of prevention and early detection. Wearing a teal item was a reminder that together we can make a difference. Also, Triple-S participated once again in the 5K of Las Voces de Rhaiza, where 55 employees joined the race in support of raising awareness about cervical cancer, with preventive treatments and vaccination

Caguas joins Dementia Friends

The Municipality of Caguas joins Dementia Friends and will be training 600 people to obtain certification as a friendly municipality, as will Loíza, Toa Baja, Vega Baja and soon Carolina. Currently this initiative has around 8,000 certified people around the island.

Triple-S suppports group prenatal care model

Given the problem of the high rate of premature births in Puerto Rico and the need to address social determinants of health in the population, Triple-S supported this group prenatal care model, developed by the March of Dimes and implemented by the UPR Hospital Dr. Federico Trilla.

Long Term Recovery

A group of employees from the Di Presente volunteer program worked assembling 700 emergency backpacks for a special project called Long Term Recovery, in preparation for the arrival of Storm Ernesto. This initiative was a collaboration with the American Red Cross Puerto Rico Chapter and the Fonalledas Business Foundation, who provided the space.

PR 10K Run

A group of 50 employees represent the commitment of Triple-S and are present at the #PR10KRUN event! This event brought together over 6,000 runners this year and the race benefited the Children’s Hospital and Trauma Center.
